THE AFTERMATH

The Aftermath is a site specific sculpture that uses cyanotype and remnant wood pieces from recently felled trees along the paths of High School Park, a viable 11+ acre native ecosystem. The project intends to bring awareness to the biodiversity impacts and environmental challenges that come from the result of tree loss due to age, invasive species or climate related events. This ephemeral work will eventually decompose and return to the earth, following the cyclical nature of life.
